Wow, Santa was really nice to me this year. I got a moleskine, 2 Munny’s, Super Sculpey, Sculpters tools, an awesome Alice In Wonderland Bag from Craftie Robot’s Etsy Shop, and a pair of these badass clicky the pixel squid socks from the Diesel Sweeties store. I bought a wallet for a Christmas present from the Tinymeat™ Etsy Shop, it was well received! I thought it was super wicked and am glad to say I have one for myself now too!

I am trying to workup a few new products and different product packages for the Borked Planet Etsy Shop. So keep your eyes peeled, don’t forget to check back for new goodies and prices!

Also, as some of you regulars know, I am a full time college student now. Yeah, at 30 years old I decided it was time to go back to college…why? Because I’m crazy apparently. Having 2 kids and going to school full time and trying to manage an online shop and expand my online presence is a lot of work! I am making do tho, last term (my first term returning to college) I got a 4.0! This is super great to me. I’ve never been one to get good grades. I worked VERY hard for those grades tho, so I am quite proud to say I earned them! I am on winter break right now and return to school January 4th. Looking forward to this term. I have Native American Arts & Cultures and Introduction to Line Art Class, also taking Writing and Tai Chi. I plan to work just as hard this term and hopefully maintain my 4.0! That would be so awesome.

I wanted to give a little shout out here to all the people who have helped me get thru college and day to day life. From the great friends I’ve made on Twitter – @imaginebttrfly, @kiwicuties, @AmyPerrotti, @tannieo@nawls and there are even more of you I’m being absent minded and forgetting right now, but you do all mean a lot to me. Your support, sense of humor and random words of encouragement and inspiration are an asset in my life that I am very grateful for. This also goes for the people who tried their best to help me thru college this first term back. Especially grateful for my family, who endured many many nights of me being completely flustered, grumpy, frustrated, crying, obsessing and still manage to love me and show me everyday that they are thankful for what I am doing. I don’t know how I’d get by, or make myself do anything if it weren’t for the motivation of doing something great for this family of mine. It’s all for you guys!

That being said…

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year. I hope that you are not too hard on yourself for the things you didn’t accomplish, and take a long moment to reflect on your accomplishments, be them large or small. Life throws so many things at us, its amazing we persevere. I am looking forward to what this year has in store. Thank you for being a part of Borked Planet!
